The first news at Cjed Audio Home site was written just 5 years ago. Since, more than 3000 news/articles have been published, and Cjed music downloads at musique-libre (Dogmazic) reached 200 000, without counting direct access.

Most of the previously available 70 songs have been temporarily deactivated (only 4 are still downloadable), in order to give focus on MJ Style album.

There are still about 90 percent unreleased songs (700 total) to be discovered (first were composed in 1987).

A stunning video of the iPad is available here : it demonstrates the power of multitouch, even further than iPhone’s user experience. The screen (9.7 inches) displays up to 1024*768 resolution (can play H264 movies in 720p at 30fps), at 132 ppi (163 ppi for the iPhone). The processor, A4, is custom made by Apple (team from PA Semi) and provides 10h battery life (1 Ghz frequency). Moreover it includes a more powerful 3D chipset than the iPhone 3GS.

The advanced OSX version provides a true desktop (dock, background, windows), and a giant virtual keyboard. Among applications we note iBooks, an ebook reader (with animated/simulated pages swipe), that looks like Delicious Library (with rotating effects, and animating – uses implicit Core Animation – when sorting), a full iTunes, Pages, Numbers et Keynote (10$ for each of these 3 desktop applications), Mail, Calendar, address book, Google Maps, all of these providing advanced multitouch features.

Applications and games from the AppStore (initially conceived for iPhone) can run in windowed mode, or double-sized mode. A dedicaed section will be added to the AppStore. The SDK is still available. Pricing will be 499$ for the 16Gb (Wifi) model – 629$ for Wifi+ 3G -, and availibility is in two months (June/July for 3G models in order to get carriers data plans).

We don’t know yet if a Logic version will be added by Apple.

Roland announced the K-RD700GX1, a SuperNATURAL update for RD-700GX’s piano. This expansion card includes 17 new piano presets, based on modeling (derived from V-Piano) and samples. Details are provided here : . expressivity in every single key (samples), expressivity according to the player’s touch and expressivity of decaying sounds (through modeling).
Expected price is about 329 euros, and it will be available by February.

Google provides access to Youtube videos through HTML5 video tag, for those encoded in H264 format, and then allows to get better performance than when using Flash. We just have to click on the Subscribe to the HTML5 beta program link in this page. This setting is stored through a coookie.
Dailymotion also allows to watch some videos through HTML5.
