Logic Express 9.1.6 update

Apple provides a 9.1.6 update to Logic Express (160 MB), that may bring the same fixes and enhancements than the corresponding Logic Pro version available at the Mac App Store.

Back in 2006-2007, Cjed Home site toped a pagerank value of 4, with up to 8000 visits a month and 250 visits a day at best. A year later (September, 2008) this new cjedaudio wordpress blog (intended to test WordPress solution, that is really great – really skilled UI designers, not lile Google’s ones) quickly reached a pagerank value of 3 (and 5000 visits a month after only 3 months).

Since 2010 there were somewhat less visits, notably as I didn’t hilighted anymore (or rarely did) posts with images (it makes a huge difference from what I’ve learnt since the original site launch in 2005, however I decided not to add pictures when not really relevant).

The main site pagerank was down to 3, despite the followers remaining strong (more than 150 visits a day, and 100 to 150 visits a day for this blog). It also corresponds to the start of articles against Google’s interests.

This month, while number of visits remaining the same (and even being greater on some days with more than 200 visits), the pagerank was down to 2, both on the blog and on the main site !

Then thank you Google. Would I then have to do as our governement ?

Update : it seems that many bloggers are experiencing this pagerank penalty.

Adsense : spam / automatic management

Since Google closed my adsense account unilateraly (and ignored my request as it does for about anyone), while keeping all my money earned since 2005 (only 50$ despite up to 8000 visits a month, close to 4000 articles and pagerank that was as high as 4 at it best), they kept sending me adword “gifts”, the ones where you agree to pay to Google for users clicks above the allowed amount…

I then sent them (adsense-adclicks-fr at google.com) an email asking for them to stop this sort of spam, and received an automatic message pointing to their unuseful links. Another email and same answer. Then Google does not pay anyone to manage their customers (not users as we bring them money).

280slides closing

Motorola announced that it will close 280slides this December, 21. To remember, this was the acclaimed demonstration application to Cappuccino at its launch back to June, 2008.

By doing this Motorola (Google if accepted by the EU) then makes clear it won’t do anything with Cappuccino or any Apple/hype related stuff (they also could have faced legal problems while reusing Next/Cocoa’s principles).

I made a Cappuccino and CP2JavaWS presentation using 280slides as a proof of this solution’s power. Hopefully I did export it to pdf.

As usual I don’t thank you Motorola, and miss you glory days with 68×00 and PowerPC.
