Four FM : OSX 4OP editor

Four FM is a free editor for 4OP DX synths (may be compatible with YS200 and V50 as these can load TX81Z sysex). It will then allow access to whole parameters from YS200, whose MIDI implementation still manages these  (however it only provided quick edit mode). The latest version requires MacOSX 10.6 or later.

Roland Integra-7 PC editor

Waiting for the Roland’s Integra-7 PC/mac editor, a free one is available here (Windows only – mac version planned).

Besides Atlas (whose related announces from Motorola are due soon) we find a new IDE made using Cappuccino, Askshell (free access). It only manages javascript code editing (no Objective-J), however it provides a javascript MVC framework (and comprehensive documentation) that reminds ruby / rails and allows fast application development (required as it does not include an interface builder contrary to Atlas). Test of applications is also available directly from the editor.
We can also try notapipe (provided as subscription), a generic purpose text editor, less evolved however that manages collaborative work.

Sencha Animator for WebKit

Sencha (ExtJS) also presented an animation editor based on WebKit’s CSS Effects (animations, transitions, transforms, gradients), that seems more evolved than Adobe’s solution. As with ExtJS, a licence has to be purchased for commercial use (derived framework or application builder tool).

Adobe Edge : HTML5 animation editor

Adobe presented Edge, a prototype of an HTML5 animations editor (with timeline), what we also expect from Apple for iAD JS.¬†Adobe’s framework used for rendering is also based on WebKit (that is it wraps the CSS Effects), and is provided as a jQuery plugin, while Apple went farther by extending javascript (not as far however than Objective-J).

Cloud9 IDE : JS online editor

Cloud9 IDE is an open source on-browser JS editor, that also allows starting server applications based on NodeJS. It however for now lacks a visual layout plugin for various JS frameworks (ExtJS, Cappuccino), and the debugger seems requiring Chrome.
